About Us..
The Eco-Centre was established and opened in 2005 by the Hillsborough River Area Development Corporation, a non- profit community group. HRADC’s main goal for the Eco-Centre is to promote and preserve the Hillsborough River, the Islands first Canadian Heritage River.

After a tour of the Eco-Centre, we recommend that the class explore the nearby Pigot Trail, which provides an opportunity to see a wealth of birds, plants, and other wildlife. The Confederation Trail also offers a perfect opportunity to see the area, by walking along the river edge.
We offer...
